Everyone else returns their money to their hand.My family enjoys Monopoly Deal so figured we’d try the newer Monopoly Bid. The player who won the property places their money on the discard pile and puts the property card face up in front of them. If nobody wants the bid, or if the tie is not broken, the property card is placed on the bottom of the property pile. If there is a tie, the bidding continues until someone wins the bid. The player who bids the most money takes the property. When each player is ready, the Host counts down and says, 3.2.1.Bid! All the players at the table show their bid for the property. Players do not have to bid, but they should keep that secret as well. Each player, including the Host, secretly decides how much money they are going to bid on that property. The Host begins the auction by flipping the top property card over from the property pile. After the Auction Host has finished playing action cards, the auction may begin. Other players may play Nope! in response if they wish. Once each player has drawn a card, the Auction Host may play any action cards from their hand. The draw begins with the host and passes left around the table. At the beginning of each turn, every player draws a card from the draw pile. The role of Auction Host begins with the youngest player and passes left each turn.

A super fun card game ready to play at any time. In Monopoly bid, players bid in blind auctions, steal properties, and trade and deal with other players. For this game, Hasbro places all of the focus on the auction, and, unlike the original board game, this is a fast playing card game great for game night. Riding that wave of success, Hasbro published a new entry for the Monopoly property in 2020, the Monopoly Bid game. In fact, the game is still available on the shelves 19 years later, far surpassing the average shelf life of games. Known as a quick-playing card game and a fun family game. This game was Hasbro’s attempt at capturing the essence of Monopoly in card game form, and it did quite well. In 2001, Hasbro expanded upon the Monopoly property with a little card game called Monopoly Deal.
